Braids are a very practical way of doings ones hair.
Bedouins -Tribes that wonder the land- are seen wearing braids in the pictures above.
Long hair was pretty popular back then among male Bedouins and if you'd ever had long hair you'd braid it up at least once in your life time. But for Bedouins it was a hair style that they carried most of their adult lives.
